Introduction
- The Braun Advantage 900 lb. Side Loader® is available in a four pocket configuration
- These machines are engineered with the same structural integrity and reliability of all Braun washers and feature superior mechanical action like our Open Pocket Washer/Extractors.

Inner Cylinder Door Locking
- PLC controlled design with proven inner cylinder door lock sensors and patented locking sensor and safety mechanism
- Each door has a switch on it to give positive feedback to the controls proving the door is completely locked. The machine will not be allowed to move on to the next step until the door lock pins are fully engaged.
- The cylinder door lock utilized is the same proven door technology that has been used on Braun Top Side Loader cylinders for decades
- The bottom picture shows the cylinder brake and locking pin. Both are unique to Braun’s design.
Encoder – Cylinder Positioning
- Braun utilizes a precise encoder and proprietary algorithms to reduce cylinder positioning time to below 1 minute once reaching low speed. This reduction in cylinder positioning time is up to 12 times faster per load than competitor machines, resulting in significantly higher production throughput!
- No pin is needed to jam into a hole to stop and position the cylinder
- Combination of an inverter and a brake is used to precisely position each and every time.
Automated Step
- This machine features a patent pending large automated step wtih a non-skid surface
- Operators will no longer need to bend down to pull out and push in the step. The pneumatically operated step provides improved ergonomics alleviating back strain.
- The wide and large step provides a very stable platform for loading operations.
Drive System
- Braun utilizes a direct drive vs. sheaves and belts. This minimizes maintenance and eliminates the need to tension belts.
- Allows for precise cylinder control and efficient load and unload cylinder placement
